Dotted Rosette
What you seeTwelve spokes and twelve rings of clay dots, larger where they cross, build a rosette on a cream ground, with twelve overlapping circles of finer dots tracing its petals. Gold dots mark three of the rings at the spokes and a gold disc sits at the centre.
What it meansIslamic geometric rosettes are constructed from circles and their divisions; drawn as dots, the construction becomes the ornament.
Where it worksFor a living room, a study or a landing; pairs with Dotted Star and the Zellige constructions.
