The Key
What you seeA single old house key in flat gold on indigo, with its shadow, set alone in the middle of the sheet.
What it meansThe large iron key of an old family home is a widely used Palestinian cultural symbol, kept and passed down within families. It stands for home, memory and belonging.
Where it worksOne object, centred and still, with nothing else to compete with it. Gold on indigo gives it a quiet, dignified presence in an entry or study.
