What you seeA wide band of twelve-fold star tiles, saffron stars and teal pieces with bone joints, runs across the sheet between plum rules, with pale gold above and deep teal below.

What it meansThe band is cut through the centres of its stars, on the pattern’s own mirror lines, the way a tiled frieze is set at eye level along a wall.

Where it worksIts strong horizontal suits a long wall above a sofa, a bed or a sideboard.
