Torn Horizon

No. 3 of 20 · free · 300 dpi

What you seeA band of sand paper and a band of moss paper are laid across the frame with rough, slightly tilted edges. An ink circle sinks behind the moss, and a thin clay strip runs underneath.

What it meansA landscape assembled from offcuts: sky, ground, sun and a line of earth. Nothing is drawn; every edge is torn.

Where it worksMade for a quiet wall where a landscape would be too literal. Good in a bedroom or a reading corner.
