Offcut
What you seeA sixteen-fold rosette drawn in a doubled chalk line on ink, so large that the sheet edges cut it away; only the sixteen-point star at its centre is printed solid, with two circles round the whole.
What it meansThe rosette is a sixteen-point star ringed by petals and points, every line doubled into a narrow strap; only part of the construction falls on the sheet.
Where it worksA single dark statement piece for the wall over a sofa or bed.
