Window Light
What you seeA clay wall above a darker clay floor. Right of centre, the light from a tall two-paned window falls on the wall as two pale, warm slanting shapes split by the thin shadow of the frame, and bends at the foot of the wall to carry on across the floor.
What it meansLate sun through a window: the room itself is never shown, only the one shape that light makes when it lands.
Where it worksFor a living room, a kitchen or a west-facing wall, where it keeps the afternoon going.
