Date Palm

No. 3 of 20 · free · 300 dpi

What you seeA tall date palm with clusters of amber dates beneath its crown of fronds, standing on warm dunes under a sky that runs from terracotta to saffron. A smaller palm stands behind it and a new crescent rises in the evening sky.

What it meansThe date palm has fed and shaded the Middle East for thousands of years, and the date is the fruit with which many people break the fast at sunset.

Where it worksSun-warmed and graphic; it suits a sunny living room or a kitchen and pairs with Dallah and Finjan.
