Lattice
What you seeA framed stone-coloured sheet covered with a moss-green lattice of eight-point stars and crosses set on the diagonal, each line drawn as a band with two edges.
What it meansThe star-and-cross field is turned forty-five degrees and each line is doubled into a strap, so the joints read like the openings of a carved screen.
Where it worksFor a large wall that should feel textured rather than decorated.
