Clay Relief
What you seeA framed field of eight-point stars, petals and smaller four-point stars rendered as raised tiles in tones of terracotta, lit from the upper left, with no line and no second colour.
What it meansThe pattern is the eight-and-four field, eight-point stars on a square grid with four-point stars between them, shown only by light and shade on each piece.
Where it worksIt brings warmth and texture without a busy image to a kitchen, dining room or any room with warm wood and linen.
