Nested
What you seeSeven eight-point stars nested one inside the next, getting smaller towards the centre, drawn in one moss line on bone inside a thin sand circle.
What it meansEach star is two squares at forty-five degrees; each smaller star is turned a sixteenth of a full turn so its points meet the inner corners of the one outside it.
Where it worksIts steady centre works well over a console, bed or mantel.
