Crescent Cradle

No. 12 of 100 · free · 300 dpi

What you seeA gold crescent lying on its back like a bowl, with an eight-point star resting in its curve. Fine concentric gold circles ring the pair on an indigo ground.

What it meansNear the equator the young crescent can appear lying almost on its back. The crescent and star together have long been a sign of the month and the feast.

Where it worksCentred and calm, with the rings giving it the weight of a medal or seal. A good gift print that sits in any room.
