Halftone Arch
What you seeA grid of small indigo dots covers a bone ground. Inside a tall pointed arch the dots grow to almost touching, so the arch reads as solid from across the room and as a screen of dots close up. A single gold dot sits under its point.
What it meansThe pointed arch is the doorway of Islamic architecture, and a halftone is the oldest way of printing a solid with one ink. Two old ideas, one picture.
Where it worksFor a hallway, an entrance or a prayer corner; a calm graphic piece that pairs with Dotted Star and Halftone Crescent.
