The Branch

No. 6 of 20 · free · 300 dpi

What you seeOne olive branch crossing the whole sheet on cream. Its leaves are in olive and silver sage, with dark, ripe olives along the stem.

What it meansOlive trees have been grown across Palestinian hills for generations, and the autumn harvest is a family and community occasion. The tree is widely held as a symbol of rootedness and continuity.

Where it worksOne branch drawn large and cropped by the edges, so it feels like a close view in the grove. Plenty of open cream keeps it light and easy to live with.
