Lantern & Light

The light of Ramadan evenings: a single great fanous, a lantern shop hung to the ceiling, windows glowing in a night façade, an arcade of lamps and one candle in a plaster niche. Warm gold on deep indigo, drawn so the glow itself is the picture. A companion to Ramadan & Eid for the whole month and for every dark evening after it.
