What it meansEmbroidery floss is made of several fine strands, used together or separated. In counted cross-stitch each arm of the cross passes through the holes between the woven threads of the cloth.

Where it worksA close view that turns a single stitch into a large, bold image. Red on deep blue gives it strong contrast from across a room.
